Busy Week and Double Birthday Party

This week was a busy one. We went to the Brandon Winter Fair, I had a midwife app't, worked on siding our garage, Good Friday and Easter gatherings and.......
2 birthdays to celebrate.......
For these two sweeties...Nathan and Mikaya.
Nathan and Mikaya are some of the cutest little people in our household.
Mikaya....smiley.....inquisitive....helpful.....delightful.....and just plain cute!
Nathan.....gentle hearted.....huggy & huggable ......
quiet.....loud :)........energetic.......smiley.....sensitive.....and eager to learn.
We had a party for both of them on Saturday...Mikaya's real birthday and a day before Nathan's birthday.
Because they both like horses we decided to have a cowboy theme.

Rebecca and Jennifer made this tasty cowboy boot...

We thought Nathan did a great job at serving the cake...

But apparently Mikaya didn't think so....

Being a wise now 3 year old she thought she would show her big brother how to do it...

FIRST you have to LICK the knife...

Then of course you pick it up with your fingers so that you can LICK THEM.....

And THEN you hand it out to your lovely party guests!!!!

And then give them all a big charming smile that makes them forget about all the licking!!!

Happy Birthday Nathan and Mikaya!! We love you!

Yep...2 of the Pauls cuties!!!

Looks like they enjoyed their birthday together very much. William and Ruth Ella will have to share a birthday like this, 2 birthdays back to back.

Look at all the hair Miss Mikaya has! It's really grown. Nate looks like such the big guy.

Can't wait til next week, to see them face to face...and give them a nice "big" HUG!

Love to you all,
Laura
