Things are Coming Together!!!

The bride's and bridesmaid's dresses are fitted, the families clothing is altered and ironed, the menu is planned and the food is bought, the decorations are made, the flowers are ordered, the rentals are rented, the house renovations are completed, the hair trials are almost done, the baby is staying inside mama :), and the "to do" list is getting shorter and shorter....YEAH!!!!

And today begins our week of "lasts" with Megan living here at home. So again it is with bittersweet emotions that we look forward to this week and the final preparations that need to be made for Mar.3/12, the day Henry and Megan will become husband and wife!!! We will enjoy every moment with Megan  here and with joy we will help her prepare for the "big day"!

So if you think of us this week please pray for us for:

~Strength for everyone, but especially that this pregnant mama will be able to keep up with the pace. So far I have been feeling really, really well and know that it is only by God's strength that I am able to be this busy and not be totally exhausted!

~For Henry and Megan as they prepare their hearts for their wedding day.

~For our family as we adjust to a new normal. When you have a large family, things have to be designated and scheduled to prevent chaos!  Megan will leave some big shoes that need to be filled and we are going to have some re-organizing to do...especially with a new baby on the way VERY SOON!!!

~That the new baby will stay in it's cozy home until after the wedding :)

~That I will not bawl like a baby through the whole wedding!!!!! Being pregnant and very emotional, this is going to be a hard one for me :)

~For good health. Jaden woke up from his sleep last night with the stomach flue. Today he seems fine but please pray that this will not spread and that everyone will feel well this week....especially on the day of the wedding.

~For God's hand to be on this special new couple. We love them so much and are so happy for them!

Thank you so much to all of our faithful friends. I know we have not been doing much updating as there has been NO TIME!!! But we feel your prayers and support. Thank you!

Pray for the Lockwoods

This beautiful family needs your prayers.
Daniel and Jaynee Lockwood and their 12 children are missionaries in Mexico.
Jaynee is recovering from serious complications following a miscarriage.
Let's flood heaven with prayers for her!

Please Pray

***UPDATE***

Andrew had an MRI and hernia surgery on Tuesday.

Everything went very well and by Wednesday afternoon he was discharged from the hospital.

His recovery seems to be going very well....and he is still as cute and smiley as ever!

So once again thank you to our family in Christ who have been so faithful in praying for this little guy.

We appreciate all of you very much :)

Again thanks to all of you who have prayed for

our little grandson, Andrew over the last few months.

He is doing great and growing well.

Your interest and concern means so much to all of us.

Could I ask you again to pray for Andy.

He is having an MRI at 1:00, and hernia surgery at 2:00 this afternoon.

This little guy has been such a blessing in all of our lives.

Thank you Lord for little Andrew.

Please pray for Josh and Rebecca as well

that they would be able to rest and put their trust in the Lord.

Please Pray

Andrew has not had any desats for a few days now so his Dr. decided to take him off caffeine. She said it will take 5 days for the caffeine to get out of his system and if he has not desats after that time.... HE CAN GO HOME WITH HIS DADDY AND MOMMY! So we are asking all of our special blog readers and friends who have been praying so diligently for this little man that God will grant him healing so that he will breathe properly and have no desats for the next 5 days!

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your prayer support. We have told you many times and we will tell you again how much all of your prayers over the last almost 3 months has meant to us. You are a blessing....each and every one of you. We will keep you updated over the next few days!

Another Update

Hi again....still from the big city.

We had another day of sticking around the hospital and having good visits with Joshua and Rebecca.

Just to update you......Rebecca's contractions are still quieted right down. The baby will get his/her last shot of steroids tonight and then it's wait and see.

So really....not sure what to say except thanks again for your prayers (have I mentioned that already :) and please continue to pray for Josh, Rebecca and their baby (our sweet little grandbaby)

GRANDPA'S IN WAITING:)

Oh and please pray for our families back at home.,..for the girls decided to make donuts at 9:45 at night :) But seriously...they have been doing a great job at holding down the fort and allowing us to be here with their brother, sister and neice/nephew. Bless them Lord :)

THE AUNTS AND UNCLES IN WAITING

I hope to update you again tomorrow so check in again if you would like :)

Update

Hi from the big city.

First of all thank you so much for all your prayers. We really appreciate them and know that God has honored them.

Last evening we went to visit Josh and Rebecca. We were thankful to find out that the contractions had slowed a lot. Right now the goal is to give the baby steroids to help develop the baby's lungs. They were hoping to be able to hold off labor for 48 hours. This morning (not sure what time) will be 24. So far she is still on the meds to slow down the contractions.

She also had an ultra sound and everything looks fine. Baby is doing well so we are very thankful for that.

We want to visit them again today so we will update when possible.

Josh and Rebecca are doing great and are trusting in God's plan for their baby. We are so thankful for their faith in Him.

Please continue to pray for Rebecca and baby's health and that God's will be done in their lives.

Here are a couple of pictures from last nights visit.

THEY ARE IN A REALLY TINY ROOM BEHIND THE NURSES STATION.

THEY WERE HOPING TO MOVE TO A BIGGER ROOM BUT THE DR. WANTS THEM TO STAY CLOSE TO THE NURSES.

REBECCA ALL HOOKED UP.

ISN'T SHE GLOWING :)

Please Pray!

I thought of calling many of you and ask you this in person...but time doesn't allow so I will ask you this way.

We got a phone call this morning that we weren't expecting. Rebecca called and said that she had been in labor all night and they were heading to the hospital.

After a couple of hours they told us that they were bringing Rebecca to a bigger hospital (over 2 hours from us). She definitely is in labor and they are now trying to slow things down for at least 24 hours and are giving the baby steroids to develop the lungs.

So I am asking you to please pray. The baby is only due at the beginning of January so this is really early. We are praying that the labor will stop... and if it comes to the baby being born we ask that you pray for the baby and it's health.

Josh and Rebecca are doing very well...they know that God has a plan and are trusting in that plan. But it is still hard I am sure.

Thank you for your prayers....we appreciate all of our blogger friends :)

We are going to leave in a few minutes with Rebecca's parents and head to the city where we will stay overnight. We want to be there for them. I will try to keep you updated.

PRAYER REQUEST

Just as we thought things were getting better with Caleb, we have found out they are not so good. After he wasn't able to eat anything without severe pain and then throwing up bile a couple of hours later, they took xrays this morning and told us that he has an obstruction in his bowel. So they put a tube in his nose to drain his stomach and relieve the pressure so that the bowel has a chance to get right. So please pray that this works or else we are looking at another surgery. We will probably know tomorrow what is up. God is faithful, He is in control and we trust Him. Thanks again for your prayers.
